Vacation! St. George Island_Cousins

We had tons of fun on vacation! The kids were so excited to have all of their cousins around. We were so lucky to have Madisyn, Matt, Caitlin an Dave all with us for at least part of the time. Baby Matt made his debut at St. George and Jillian showed him the ropes..when she was not hitting him or trying to climb on him. Sadly, she thinks his name is "nice" because that is what we are always telling her when he is around. Now she goes up to him, swats at him and says "ice".
Trying to get Matty..it won't be long before Matty will be able to defend himself:)
CC, Dave, Will, Jeanne and Jillian...this was no small feat to get a picture with eyes open and most participants looking at the camera.
Look how sweet they look here..Matt is still having fun!
Jeanne and Madisyn modeling their matching skirts with Will for good measure.

The Bumbo...or the baby cupholder
Will and Dave spent a lot of time on the beach building sandcastles and playing in the water...Will is lucky to have such an awesome cousin!

The Taylor/Cox kids..having fun!

Humoring Aunt Anne/Mommy with more photos...

Hanging in the baby pool with her signature sunglasses:)
Posing in front of their awesome sand castle!

Vacation! St. George Island_Crabbing

This year for the first time in years we decided that if we were going to pack up all three kids and all their stuff...we would make it a two week trip! It was awesome and I think we will try and do two weeks whenever we can. The weather was gorgeous and the Gulf was beautiful..not a drop of oil to be seen. We all had a great time...we had the whole family there...including the Cox's from Ohio and my mom and dad, Jessica, Mike and Matt and Jeff.
The water was crystal clear and there were tons of blue crabs..so the boys and Jeanne spent a lot of time as the crab hunters:)
Lots of gear was required for an operation of this nature.
Will was posing for the Crab Hunters Calendar.

Still a little on clear on how to use said nets..

Happy Birthday Will!

Will celebrated his 6th birthday this summer with a pool party! He had a great time with family and friends. The kids did not even seem to mind that it was really..really...hot! Ah...summer in Texas, always a delight. We were also very lucky to have Madisyn, Marissa, Dawn and Shawn in town for the big event. It is be coming an annual tradition that they are here to celebrate with us each year!
The Reardon's floating down the Lazy River

He decided on a Star Wars cake...isn't it awesome:)

Jeanne and Madisyn! It worked out that Madisyn was in town for the big birthday.

Madisyn and Uncle Mike:) Baby Matt stayed home with Jillian..it was too hot for the babies!
Doesn't look like he is having a good time does it?

Jeanne the Little Ballerina

Jeanne had her first dance recital this weekend. She was very excited and it was quite a production for a 3 year old dance recital. She of course LOVED her costume. It was all we could do to keep the white costume clean at least until the recital was over. As we were getting ready to head out for the recital she asked for a snack. I asked her what she wanted and her response was cheetos of course. Needless to say we opted for fruit snacks.

Her class danced to Suzy Snowflake. They have been practicing for months. I was not sure how she would do on the big stage--- but she did great. She was very good at blowing kisses and twirling especially.
