Will's last day of preschool! It is off to Kindergarten we go!

The Crew

Will and Jeanne love their baby sister. They are constantly arguing with each other over whose baby Jillian she is. Jeanne says that she is her baby Jillian and of course Will says she is his. They bicker over just about everything these days, right down to the color plate they get for dinner, so I guess it is par for the course. Will is a big helper. He likes to do things to help with the baby....Jeanne not as much:) She likes to find all the baby's paci's and claim them as her own, sit in the bouncer and swing in the baby swing! It is pretty hilarious.

Jillian's first bath! She was not a huge fan of the bath at first. She tolerates it better as she gets bigger.

The best part of bath time is getting wrapped up in her warm Swankie Towel!

Jillian, 1 Week

Jillian is 1 week old and doing very well. We are all really enjoying her. Will is a great big brother and already very protecive of his baby sister. Jeanne likes her too! They both love to hold baby Jillian.

All in all, it has been an eventful first 4 days! Now it is time to head home. Will and Jeanne can't wait for mommy and baby Jillian to get home....they have missed us!

Uncle Jeff loves his new niece..she loves him too..she is quite a cuddle bug.

The weigh in....

Hi mommy! Jillian was born on April 30, 2009, at 2:39 PM, at Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, TX. She weighed in at a whopping 6 pounds, 2 ounces and 17 inches long, a peanut. Everything went very smoothly. We are so blessed to have another healthy baby. Daddy even did pretty well this time...he gets pretty nervous during delivery:)

Visit with our Cousins

We had a fun Easter visit from the Cox family. Will and Jeanne loved having their cousins Caitlin and David, Aunt Julie and Uncle Andy here for a visit. We did lots of fun things like a trip to the rodeo in Ft. Worth, a night and day at the Great Wolf Lodge, and even some swimming at Gigi and Papa's pool.
Will was very excited about his new Star Wars Lego game that the Easter Bunny brought him for the Wii.

Jeanne was most impressed with the candy in her Easter Basket.

There is a new sheriff in town it appears. Although the inmates do not seem too concerned.

A Big Girl Room for Jeanne

Jeanne moved into her big girl room this week. We decided that we better not kick her out when Jillian arrived. We thought it might go better if we moved her first. She was very excited about being in her "gig girl" room by Will. Let the fun begin.....
This was the first night....after some running back and forth between the two rooms and Will complaining that he could not sleep with Jeanne listening to music in her room, (She kept opening and closing a card that played music...not sure how it ended up in her bed.)
Everyone was quiet and slept all night long:) It was not until night 3 that she was brave enough to start exploring.....Brian and I heard Will yelling from upstairs, only to find pink toothpaste all over her sink and stool in the bathroom, and a toilet filled with wipes..an entire container of wet wipes actually. I am sure the fun is just beginning.

Everyone loves an Easter egg hunt! Will and Jeanne went to the neighborhood hunt with Christian and Annaleise. Of course it was a beautiful windy and cool April day...go figure!

Day with the ducks!

We had a fun day visiting with Aunt Sara and baby Jackson. They took us to a pond near their house to feed the ducks! It was great. The ducks were very well fed and no one fell in the pond..which is surprising.
Let's see if I can fall in!

I need more food for the ducks...I am all out of bread...fortunately, Aunt Sara came prepared with some extra crackers in case of emergency...we went through all of the bread products available.

Will took his job very seriously...really no time for posing or picture taking.

Getting a little too close to the pond for mommy's liking....mostly because I did not want to have to go in after them.
