Disney World 2011- Animal Kingdom

After we took a day off from the parks...we headed to the Animal Kingdom which was new for all of us. As you can see a good time was had by all. Will was awesome and rode Expedition Everest with Brian, Papa and me. He was only a little scared..but was very proud of himself afterwards. He wore his Expedition Everest shirt very proudly..and still does. The girls had fun in Dinoland and we saw a bunch of characters which was a lot of fun. Gigi and Papa were troopers again and went all over the park getting Fast Passes for us! They were the best Disney partners we could have asked for....and we could not have done it without them. Thanks!!
We were all excited to meet King Louie and Baloo!

Jillian was happy to be out of her stroller for a bit.

Even mommy got to be in this pic.

Hugs for King Louie

One of the cool rides that we all could go on...including Jillian was the Jeep Safari trip. We saw lots of animals and had fun driving through the savanah. The habitat was great for checking out the animals in a natural setting.

We were all really excited to see the baby elephants.

...and who doesn't like crocodiles.

Will got to try his hand at the bongos!

Jeanne did too, of course!

Jeanne and Will really had a good time together exploring Animal Kingdom and collecting autographs!

Jeann and Papa enjoying the ride in Dinoland!

Bri and I are ready for takeoff...somehow we ended up without any kids...go figure!

Here we go again! This ride was a big hit and had a short line:)

Part of Dinoland included the boneyard..which was a big playground complete with sand pit for digging up fossils. Jillian and Jeanne loved it here..so we spent quite a bit of time here while Will went with Brian and Papa on the dinosaur ride.

Riding a dinosaur!

It is too bad that she is not having any fun!

Happy girls hanging in the Jeep!

Disney World 2011- Magic Kingdom

Day 2 of the trip was the Magic Kingdom! We had a lot of fun riding Splash Mountain and Buzz Lightyear's ride, but the highlight by far..for Jeanne anyway was her trip to the Bippity Boppity Boutique. As you can see...it was quite the event.
The princess is ready!

Showing off her new look!

She does not look happy at all?

Almost ready to head out!

Putting on the finishing touches.

If only she could do this everyday!

Waiting patiently..

It is hard work being made up like a princess!

Getting Started!

Tomorrowland Dance Party with Stich and Chip and Dale was a lot of fun. Jeanne had no problem getting out there and getting down with the kids and the characters.

Disney World 2011- EPCOT

Our first day at Disney was spent at Epcot. All of the kids were excited. Jeanne was really into all of the characters..as you will see as we go through the pictures. Nemo! This was a favorite ride of all three kids!

We stopped in the World Showcase and visited with Mary Poppins for a bit. She asked Jeanne if she kept her room clean...and Jeanne said yes. Hmmm...I decided not to rat her out:)

We also found Alice nearby too...Jeanne was starting to figure out his character thing and she really liked it!

Her autograph book has become one of her favorite pre-bedtime reads.Who doesn't love Chip and Dale?

Waiting in the garden to meet Vidia and Rosetta. During the spring, there was a large garden area, "Pixie Hallow", in Epcot where Tinkerbell and some of her fairy friends could be found. Jeanne really wanted to meet the fairies, so Gigi and I waited in line with Jeanne to meet them. She was so excited!

After about an hour wait, it was finally time to meet the fairies! Jeanne gave them both a big hug and talked with them for several minutes. It was definitely worth the wait!

Chatting up the fairies!

Hey Lightning McQueen!

One of the kids favorite things at Epcot was the Nemo ride and exhibit. For obvious reasons..this was a big hit. Nemo has been a family favorite since Will was a baby so it was pretty cool to ride and check out the rest of the exhibit...even the sharks were not too scary:)
