Happy Valentine's Day_ Jillan 9 Months

Happy Valentine's Day! Jillian is crawling now and all over the place. She has just discovered the fun of crawling around the house and dismantling all of the doorstops! They are now all put away in a bag until she is older.
Of course mommy could not let a holiday go by without a picture..yes it is the middle of the day and yes, Jeanne is wearing her nightgown..or her house dress as we have come to know it.

Will and Jillian...he is a very good big brother...and she loves him!
Playing with the learning chair...it looks like they are having a very serious conversation.

I can clap now!!!

I love the chair..what a great hand-me-down from Jeanne!

Princess Party

Jeanne went to a Princess Tea Party yesterday...this was the best day ever! She had a ball getting to dress in full costume! It was a dream come true...of course we had to do a photo shoot before!
"I so bootiful, Mommy!"
So regal!
She did not let the heels and dress keep her from climbing all over everything!
Posing for her portrait!

Will is funny.....

So one day this week we decided to try and clean up the playroom and organize all of the toys and put the pieces back with the toys they go with etc. You know what I mean...they are all there, you just would not ever know it because nothing is together. After about 30 minutes of fun and little help from the kids. Brian decided to explain to Will that if he did not take care of his toys, he will be sad when they are lost. All while Will is laying on his bed leisurely playing his DS. Here is how the rest of the conversation went:
Brian: Will, if you want to have any Bakugons left, you will need to put them away in the case.
Will while still playing his DS, not even looking up: That is good to know, Thanks.
Brian: Oh look, I found another one under the bed.
Mom: Here is another one.
Will still playing his DS: Wow, you guys are really good finders.
It is hard to get good help these days is all I can come up with after that....

A Texas Snow Day...for real this time!

We had a legitimate snow storm in Dallas this weekend. We got about 10 to 12 inches of snow and it even lasted for 2 days! That never happens in Texas. It was a lot of fun. All the kids and parents in the neighborhood were out playing in the snow. It is funny when it snows here..no one really has the right clothes..hence the kids outfits. They had a ball though and I remembered what it was like to live in a place with snow..only now I am the mom and got to clean up the melted snow that was everywhere in the house and wash all the clothes that we changed in and out of each time the kids came in and went back out. Thanks mom...now I get it!
Trying to make a snowball!
Jeanne was not so sure about these "snow clothes"...she could not figure out why she could now wear a dress...and why nothing I was putting on her was pink...
Will and Christian took the Star Wars outdoors...
May the force be with you...on ice?
Texas snow outfit..sad I know...he did not even have a hat, because he lost it at school when it was cold one day. I had to make Brian stop at the sporting goods store on the way home from work and buy the poor kid some gloves! He had lost those as well....and I did not think it was that important to replace them. Ooops...
Playing with Uncle Mike....
Don't worry...no children were hurt in the making of this action sequence..
Her first snowball!
Cousin Charlie came out to enjoy the fun with the kids!
Fighting over the sled!
A Texas Sized Snowball!
The snow fort makers!

Crawling through the fort....

Fighting with her mittens....

Snow is fun!

It was so nice of the boys to build them this fort to climb on.

Jillian is 8 Months Old

Jillian is 8 months old now..she is moving around and scooting all over. Not crawling yet..so we can still keep track of her. She can go from laying to sitting back to laying. She is getting very big and funny. She laughs all the time and even tries to talk. Mama, dada, dog are a few of the things that she says. I am surprised she has not figured out "leave me alone" since between Will, Jeanne and Bailey someone is always in her face. She is a good sport, I guess.
Bath time with the big kids! She loves that she can take a bath with Will and Jeanne. It is a whole new world. Now, if we can just keep will and Jeanne from knocking her over.
Checking out my thumb....the paci that is always with me..sweet!
Giggling and blowing bubbles...must have been something really funny!
Hanging with my big bro!
Cheese!

Fun with Charlie!

With Crazy Cousin Charlie in town we randomly have visits from him which everyone loves! Here are a few pics from some recent Charlie Sightings. Mai Tai Fest...sharing their victory with Jess and Mike!
Helping to educate my children...one quality piece of literature at a time!

The baby whisperer...keeping Jillian happy as usual!
Looking good:) You can thank Jeff for this pic..I believe that he took it.

Our Newest Family Member

Baby Matthew James Vieira made his entrance to the world on January 21, 2010! He was 9 pounds 6 ounces and has a full head of dark hair...more then Jillian has at 9 and half months:) He is just adorable and we are so happy that he is here. Will was really excited to have another boy in the family. When I told him it was a boy, he said "we only get girl babies".
Gigi and Papa with their newest grandbaby just minutes after he was born!

Jeanne and Lammie just checking things out:)
Jeanne and Will are so excited to have a new baby cousin. Jeanne calls him "baby map"

Proud Daddy! Mike was as surprised as anyone that he had a baby boy..and a big one no less...well I guess that part was not a surprise.

Papa and Matt--this is papa's favorite stage in grandchild development...the time when you can still watch them while sitting down.
Uncle Bri came to visit!

Will is checking out Matt's hair. A baby with hair...not the norm at the Taylor house.

Big yawn! Being born is hard work.
I am so excited to be an Auntie...watch out Jess...now I can spoil him like you have been spoiling mine for years!
