Back to School

I am ready to go. So we had to set the alarm for the first time in years. I went upstairs and woke Will up at 6:45 am. Yikes! He sprang out of bed. I said, "Guess what today is?" and he shouted "Kindergarten"! I guess he was ready.

Will started Kindergarten this week. He was so excited and had a great week. The first day when he came home from school, the first thing he told me was that he got to eat lunch in the cafeteria. Apparently that is very exciting! His teacher is great and he seems to be doing really well. So far she must not have caught on to how chatty he is:) or it is the first week and he is too scared to talk to anyone. Jeanne was very jealous that Will got to go to school, she does not start until next week. She told everyone on Monday that she was going to Kindergarten and she could not wait for Will to get home.

Jillian can roll herself over. She has discovered her hands and feet and is starting to focus on things and play with them. Will is a great big brother, as you can see..he enjoys her toys as well.

The kids have had lots of fun in the pool this summer. They are both really good swimmers and have a great time playing together. Jeanne is a wild woman in the pool. It is pretty funny.

"The Doll Store"

While Madisyn and Marissa were in town in July we took a girls trip to the American Girl Doll store for brunch and shopping of course. All of the girls brought their dolls and we had a lovely brunch...the dolls seemed to enjoy it too!
We had as many dolls at the table as we did girls. Jillian was with us too...she was on the other side of the table.

Jeanne and her bitty baby...they actually do look alike. Jeanne love the trip and still talks about the doll store! We will have to plan a trip back soon..I am sure that Jeanne can talk Gigi into it!

Jillian, 3 Months

Jillian has changed a lot and is getting much bigger. She was almost 10 pounds at 2 months. She is able to hold her head up and even sit if you prop her up. She is just about ready for the baby cup holder (ie. Bumbo).
She smiles and even laughs. It is pretty hilarious. She loves Will and Jeanne even if they do get in her face. She is going to be one tough cookie:)

Happy 5th Birthday Will!

Happy 5th Birthday Will! Will had a great time at his birthday party at Pump it Up! He was so excited to have all of his friends there to celebrate. He told me on several occasions that it was in fact the best day of his life!

The cake had a little mishap on the way to the party..a cooler in fell on the cake...so I had to do a quick repair job. Oops...I told Will that it looked like the building blew up:)

Jeanne had a ball at the party too! She got right in there and was not at all intimidated by the older crowd!

St. George Island

We took our annual trip to St. George Island, FL. It was as wonderful as I remembered. We did not go last year since we took the trip to Hawaii for Jess and Mike's wedding. Will and Jeanne loved the beach. It only took a couple of forced trips into the water before they both realized how great the beach was!
Will was always ready...we are not sure if he just forgot they were on his head or if he likes them that way!


Brian had a full on sand castle building sweatshop going! Jeanne took her responsibilites very seriously! What a daddy's girl!

Caitlin, Will, Jeanne, Madisyn and Jeanne...what a crew...they all had a great time and CC was a really good sport keeping track of all the little ones! They love CC.Will- 5 years! I love it!
